Position Overview

We’re looking for a high-energy, quick-thinking, and engaging Game Show Host to lead live game experiences for our guests. As the face of each show, you’ll guide contestants through rounds of trivia, puzzles, and challenges — keeping the crowd hyped, the energy flowing, and the fun nonstop. Every group is different, and you’ll set the tone to make each experience memorable and one-of-a-kind.

Responsibilities

  • Host and facilitate interactive game shows for groups ranging from 4 to 50 players

  • Keep contestants and audiences engaged with humor, enthusiasm, and confidence

  • Read questions, manage timers, and award points while keeping gameplay smooth and lively

  • Match the energy and vibe of each group — from corporate teams to birthday parties

  • Learn and perform multiple show formats (Family Feud, trivia, puzzles, etc.)

  • Ensure all players have a fun, fair, and safe experience

  • Work with production staff to coordinate lighting, sound, and on-screen cues

  • Represent Raleigh Game Show with professionalism and positive energy on and off stage

Qualifications

  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable on the mic

  • Strong public speaking or performance presence — quick wit and humor a plus

  • Able to adapt on the fly and think fast in front of a crowd

  • Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player

  • Experience in entertainment, theater, comedy, or customer service is a bonus

  • Comfortable using microphones, screens, and basic AV tech

  • Must be available evenings and weekends
